The Region
This tranquil spot, located in the southern part of the island, is surrounded by a serene landscape with the horizon of the sea on one side and the island's mountains on the other. It is close to the historic Whaling Port and the Whalers' Museum, both located in Lajes do Pico. The museum is the only one of its kind in Europe.
